But no; I swear by what you see, 38 and by that you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 It is not the word of a poet but only a few of you have faith, 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings, 44 We assuredly had taken him by the right hand 45 Then would have cut off his heart’s artery. 46 and none of you could have held Us off from him. 47 Surely it is a Reminder to the godfearing; 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), proclaim the purity of your Lord, the Greatest. 52
