Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ya Sin 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 upon the straight path. 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 Surely We have put on their necks fetters up to the chin, so their heads are raised; 8 And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
