I say the truth, and call the moon to witness, 32 And the night when it departs, 33 and by the day when it dawns (with its radiance), 34 surely it is one of the greatest things 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Every soul is a pledge for its own deeds; 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 We indulged and persisted in useless disputes, 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 as if they were startled asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 In fact every one of them wants to be given open books (like the prophets). 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 and whoever wills may take it to heart. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
