The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
