Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 until you go down to your graves. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 And once again: Nay, in time you will come to understand! 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 you would see the fire of Hell. 6 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 7 Then, on that Day, you will be called to account for all the bounties you enjoyed. 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
