Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 pursuing a straight way 4 by [virtue of] what is being bestowed from on high by the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not. 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 You should only warn those who follow the Quran and have fear of the Beneficent God without seeing Him. Give them the glad news of their receiving forgiveness and an honorable reward (from God). 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
