Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

THE AVARICE OF plenitude keeps you occupied 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 Nay, in time you will come to understand! 3 Again, ye soon shall know! 4 Nay, if you could but understand [it] with an understanding [born] of certainty, 5 For ye will behold hell-fire. 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
