Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
