Lo, the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum 43 Is the food of the sinful 44 like molten copper, bubbling in the belly 45 like the boiling of burning despair. 46 (A voice will cry: "Seize ye him and drag him into the midst of the Blazing Fire! 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 Taste this, you are a person mighty and noble! 49 "Truly this is what ye used to doubt!" 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 Attired in fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes. 54 They will call for every kind of fruit with satisfaction. 55 They shall not taste death except the death in this world. And Allah will save them from the chastisement of Hell 56 as an act of grace. That will be the supreme triumph. 57 (O Prophet), We have made this Book easy in your tongue so that they may take heed. 58 So wait thou [for what the future will bring]: behold, they, too, are waiting. 59
