And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 The evildoers shall have their portion, like the portion of their fellows; so let them not hasten Me! 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
