Say: "O my Lord! if Thou wilt show me (in my lifetime) that which they are warned against,- 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 And indeed We are Able to show you the promise they are given. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter. 96 And say: "O my Sustainer! I seek refuge with Thee from the promptings of all evil impulses; 97 I seek refuge in You lest they come to me." 98 [AS FOR THOSE who will not believe in the life to come, they go on lying to themselves] until, when death approaches any of them, he prays: "O my Sustainer! Let me return, let me return [to life,] 99 that I have left behind. I am likely to do good." Nay, it is merely a word that he is uttering. There is a barrier behind all of them (who are dead) until the Day when they will be raised up. 100 So when the trumpet is blown, there shall be no ties of relationship between them on that day, nor shall they ask of each other. 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces and they will abide therein with their faces distorted. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell – then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 You are those that when a party of My servants said: 'Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful,' 109 but you made them a target of your derision to the point where it made you forget all remembrance of Me; and you went on and on laughing at them. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this day forasmuch as they were steadfast in that they, even they, are the triumphant. 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 He will say: "Ye stayed not but a little,- if ye had only known! 114 "Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)?" 115 So Most Supreme is Allah, the True King; there is no God except Him; Lord of the Throne of Honour. 116 He who invokes any other god along with Allah " one for whom he has no evidence" his reckoning is with his Lord alone. Indeed, these unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And say (O Muhammad SAW): "My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
