We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night.
