54 verses, revealed in Mecca after Forgiver (Ghaafer) before Consultation (Al-Shooraa)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Ha'. Mim. 1 A revelation from the Beneficent, the Merciful Allah: 2 A Book the verses of which are explained in detail, the Qur’an in Arabic for people of intellect. 3 Giving good news and admonition: yet most of them turn away, and so they hear not. 4 They say, 'Our hearts are veiled from what thou callest us to, and in our ears is a heaviness, and between us and thee there is a veil; so act; we are acting!' 5 (Muhammad), say, "I am a mere mortal like you. I have received a revelation that your Lord is the only One. So be up-right and obedient to Him and seek forgiveness from Him. Woe to the pagans, 6 Those who do not give zakah, and in the Hereafter they are disbelievers. 7 For those who believe and do good works is an enduring wage' 8
