The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 shall be food for the sinners: 44 Like murky oil, it boils within bellies 45 as the boiling of the hot water. 46 'Take him, and thrust him into the midst of Hell, 47 Then pour the punishment of boiling water over his head, 48 (Saying): 'Taste, surely you are the mighty and noble! 49 Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt. 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 In Gardens and water-springs. 52 robed in silk and brocade, set face to face. 53 Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris, 54 They will be offered all kinds of fruits, in peace and security. 55 Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,- 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 So be on the watch; they too are on the watch. 59
