In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 Consider these [messages] that spread [the truth] far and wide, 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 And when the heaven is cloven asunder. 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier peoples? 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.)! 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 For a known term? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 Verily! It (Hell) throws sparks (huge) as Al-Qasr [a fort or a Qasr (huge log of wood)], 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40
