The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The All High (Al-A'alaa). Sent down in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
