Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree. 1 And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is? 2 The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. 3 in hosts descend in it the angels, bearing divine inspiration by their Sustainer's leave; from all [evil] that may happen 4 Peace!... This until the rise of morn! 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: Destiny (Al-Qadr). Sent down in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)
