The unbelievers say: "When we become dust, we and our forefathers, shall we really be brought out (from our graves)? 67 We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. 68 Say: "Go about through the earth and see what has been the end of the evil-doers." 69 But do not grieve over them, and neither be distressed by the false arguments which they devise [against Gods messages]. 70 And they say: When will this threat come to pass, if you are truthful? 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 And surely your Lord is the Lord of grace to men, but most of them are not grateful. 73 But, verily, thy Sustainer knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they bring into the open: 74 And naught there is hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 This Quran tells the Israelites most of the matters about which they had disputes among themselves. 76 It is a guidance and a mercy to believers. 77 Surely your Lord will judge between them by his judgment, and He is the Mighty, the knowing. 78 So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. 79 Verily thou canst not make the dead hear, nor canst thou make the deaf hear the call when they flee turning their backs. 80 Nor can you be a guide to the blind out of their error; you cannot make to bear (any one) except those who believe in Our communications, so they submit. 81 ۞ And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith]. 82
