The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
