Exalted is He who put constellations in the heavens, a radiant lamp and an illuminating moon -- 61 It is He who made the night and day an alternation for him who cares to reflect and be grateful. 62 The (true) servants of the Merciful are those who walk humbly on the earth who, when the ignorant people behave insolently towards them, say, "Peace to you" 63 And these who pass the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing up. 64 who pray, "Our Lord, save us from the torment of Hell, for its torment is killing: 65 it is an evil settling, and an evil residence' 66 And those who, when they spend, are neither prodigal nor grudging; and there is ever a firm station between the two; 67 who do not call upon another god with Allah, nor slay the soul which Allah has forbidden except by right; who do not fornicate, for he who does this shall face punishment 68 (But) the Penalty on the Day of Judgment will be doubled to him, and he will dwell therein in ignominy,- 69 Except those who repent and believe (in Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, for those, Allah will change their sins into good deeds, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 70 And whosoever repenteth and worketh righteously, then verily he repenteth toward Allah with a true repentance. 71 And they who do not bear witness to what is false, and when they pass by what is vain, they pass by nobly. 72 Those who, when they are admonished with the Signs of their Lord, droop not down at them as if they were deaf or blind; 73 And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous." 74 Those will be rewarded with the highest place (in Paradise) because of their patience. Therein they shall be met with greetings and the word of peace and respect. 75 Abiding there for ever. Happy is it as abode and station! 76 Say, "What would my Lord care for you, if you do not call on Him. Because you have indeed rejected the truth and His punishment is bound to overtake you. 77
