Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the winds which scatter dust, 1 and those that bear the burden [of the rain], 2 Then those (ships) that glide easily, 3 And those who distribute (blessings) by command, 4 surely that you are promised is true, 5 And lo! the judgment will indeed befall. 6 By heaven with all its tracks 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 and are turned away from him who is turned. 9 Woe to the falsehood-mongers,- 10 who are heedless in the immersion. 11 they who [mockingly] ask, "When is that Day of Judgment to be?" 12 The day they will be burnt in the Fire, 13 [and will be told:] "Taste this your trial! It is this that you were so hastily asking for!" 14 Lo! those who keep from evil will dwell amid gardens and watersprings, 15 Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good. 16 They used to sleep but little in the night. 17 And in the dawns they prayed for forgiveness. 18 And in their wealth the beggar and the outcast had due share. 19 On the earth, and in yourselves, 20 There is also evidence of the Truth within your own selves. Will you then not see? 21 And in the heaven is your provision and that which ye are promised. 22 So by oath of the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this Qur'an is the Truth, in the same language that you speak. 23
