The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those (angels) ranged in ranks (or rows). 1 and those who drive away [the wicked] with reproof 2 And those who recite the message, 3 surely, your God is One, 4 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them; the Lord of the Easts. 5 Verily! We have adorned the near heaven with the stars (for beauty). 6 Protecting them against every wayward devil, 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly, and they are darted at from every side. 8 cast out [from all grace,] with lasting suffering in store for them [in the life to come]; 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay. 11 Nay, you (O Muhammad SAW) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Quran). 12 And heed not when they are reminded, 13 and when they see a miracle, they mock 14 saying, "This is plain sorcery!" 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up? 16 And also our forefathers? 17 Tell them: “Yes; and you are utterly helpless (against Allah).” 18 For it is only a single scaring, then behold, they are watching 19 And will say, “O our misfortune!” It will be said to them, “This is the Day of Justice.” 20 This is the Day of Separation, which ye used to deny. 21
