And indeed the Noble Messengers came to the people of Firaun. 41 They denied all Our signs, We therefore seized them – the seizure of the Most Honourable, the All Powerful. 42 Are your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books? 43 Or do they say: "We are a well-accoutred army?" 44 Soon shall this legion be routed and shall turn their backs and flee. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 And Our Commandment is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We destroyed many people like you (disbelievers) but is there anyone who would take heed (of Our warning)? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 Every small or great deed is written down. 53 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers, 54 Firmly established in the favour of a Mighty King. 55
