The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ WHEN THAT which must come to pass [at last] comes to pass, 1 And there can be no denying of its befalling. 2 (a calamitous Event) that shall turn things upside down: 3 When the earth is violently shaken 4 The mountains bruised and crushed, 5 So they will become like fine dust, scattered in a shaft of light. 6 and you shall be three bands -- 7 Then (as to) the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 8 And there shall be such as will have lost themselves in evil: oh, how [unhappy] will be they who have lost themselves in evil! 9 And the forerunners, the forerunners - 10 those are they brought nigh the Throne, 11 In the gardens of bliss. 12 A number of people from those of old, 13 and only a few of them from the later generations. 14 Seated on couches wrought in gold and encrusted with precious stones, 15 reclining on them facing each other; 16 There wait on them immortal youths 17 With goblets, (shining) beakers, and cups (filled) out of clear-flowing fountains: 18 that will neither make the head throb, nor intoxicate, 19 And with fruits, any that they may select: 20 And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire. 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 The likenesses of pearls well-protected, 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk nor any sinful speech. 25 Except the word peace, peace. 26 And those on the Right Hand, Who will be those on the Right Hand? 27 [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed 28 And banana-trees (with fruits), one above another. 29 and spreading shade 30 and outpoured waters, 31 and abundant fruit, 32 Neither intercepted nor forbidden, 33 And exalted thrones. 34 Lo! We have created them a (new) creation 35 having resurrected them as virgins, 36 intensely loving and of matching age. 37 for the people of the right hand 38

Notes and Instructions
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color, where pages randomly generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice.
Click or tap the small triangles above and below the frame on the right to display the Surah Table of Contents, where you can go to any Surah or any page within.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
