The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 the Fire that shall rise to the hearts (of criminals). 7 Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them 8 In extended columns. 9
