▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But such as fears the Station of his Lord, for them shall be two gardens -- 46 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 47 abounding in branches -- 48 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 49 In the two gardens there will be two flowing springs. 50 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 51 In which are fruits of all kinds, each of two varieties. 52 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 53 Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand. 54 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 55 Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them. 56 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 57 As (lovely as) rubies and as (beautiful as) coral. 58 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 59 The reward of goodness shall be nothing but goodness. 60 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 61 And beside the two there will be two other Gardens. 62 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 63 Both [gardens] of the darkest green. 64 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 65 In both of them live springs gush forth. 66 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 67 In both gardens there will be fruits, palm-trees, and pomegranates 68 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 69 Therein will be damsels agreeable and beauteous. 70 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 71 with big, black and white beautiful eyes, dwelling in tents. 72 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 73 Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them - 74 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 75 reclining upon green cushions and lovely druggets -- 76 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 77 Blessed be your Lord's name, full of glory and majesty! 78
