The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event comes, 1 There is about its happening no lie. 2 Abasing (some), exalting (others); 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 And the mountains are crumbled, crumbled. 5 and become a dust, scattered, 6 [on that Day,] then, shall you be [divided into] three kinds. 7 Those on the Right -- how blessed are those on the Right! 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 And the preceders are the preceders. 10 Who will be honoured 11 in the beautiful Paradise. 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 And a few from the later generations. 14 On lined couches, 15 reclining upon them, set face to face, 16 Surrounded by immortal boys. 17 With bowls and ewers and a cup from a pure spring 18 neither causing headaches, nor intoxication; 19 and with fruit of any kind that they may choose, 20 and any flesh of fowl that they desire. 21 And there will be fair ones large eyed. 22 like unto pearls [still] hidden in their shells. 23 A Reward for the deeds of their past (life). 24 They will not hear therein any vain or sinful talk, 25 Other than "Peace, peace" the salutation. 26 The Companions of the Right Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 27 mid thornless lote-trees 28 and acacias flower-clad, 29 and spreading shade 30 And water gushing, 31 And plenty of fruits. 32 Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden, 33 And maidens incomparable. 34 and their spouses We shall have brought them into being afresh, 35 And made them virgins, 36 loving companions, matching in age, 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
