Al-Taghaabun 2 of 2
No calamity befalleth save by Allah's leave. And whosoever believeth in Allah, He guideth his heart. And Allah is Knower of all things. 11 Obey Allah and obey the apostlle; then if ye turn away, on Our apostle is only the preaching manifest. 12 Allah! there is no God but He! In Allah, therefore, let the believers put their trust. 13 O you who believe! Verily, among your wives and your children there are enemies for you (i.e. may stop you from the obedience of Allah), therefore beware of them! But if you pardon (them) and overlook, and forgive (their faults), then verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 14 Your wealth and your children are only a temptation, whereas Allah! with Him is an immense reward. 15 So fear God as much as you can, and listen and obey, and spend in charity for your own good. He who is saved from his own avarice will be successful. 16 If you offer up to God a goodly loan, He will amply repay you for it, and will forgive you your sins: for God is ever responsive to gratitude, forbearing, 17 Knower of what is open, Exalted in Might, Full of Wisdom. 18
