And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 We have spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains. Everything We have caused to grow therein is justly weighed; 19 to provide you and those for whose sustenance you are not responsible, with the necessities of life. 20 And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away). 23 Surely We know those of you who have passed before and those who will come later. 24 and it is your Lord who will gather them. He is Wise, Knowing. 25

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
