O Prophet, tell your wives and daughters, and the women of the faithful, to draw their wraps a little over them. They will thus be recognised and no harm will come to them. God is forgiving and kind. 59 ۞ THUS IT IS: if the hypocrites, and they in whose hearts is disease, and they who, by spreading false rumours, would cause disturbances in the City [of the Prophet] desist not [from their hostile doings]; We shall indeed give thee mastery over them, [O Muhammad] - and then they will not remain thy neighbours in this [city] for more than a little while: 60 They shall be cursed from all around and they shall be ruthlessly killed wherever they are seized. 61 Such has been God's way with those who have gone before them. You shall find no change in the ways of God. 62 (Muhammad), people ask you about the Day of Judgment. Say, "Only God has knowledge about it. Perhaps the Hour of Doom will soon come to pass." 63 Verily, God has rejected the deniers of the truth, and has readied for them a blazing fire, 64 To dwell therein for ever: no protector will they find, nor helper. 65 On the day when their faces are turned over in the Fire, they say: Oh, would that we had obeyed Allah and had obeyed His messenger! 66 And they will say: "O our Sustainer! Behold, we paid heed unto our leaders and our great men, and it is they who have led us astray from the right path! 67 Our Lord, mete out to them a double chastisement and lay upon them a mighty curse.” 68
