I say the truth, and call the moon to witness, 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 And by the dawn when it brightens, 34 Verily it is one of the greatest woes. 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 To any of you that chooses to go forward (by working righteous deeds), or to remain behind (by commiting sins), 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 we fed not the needy, 44 We indulged and persisted in useless disputes, 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 As if they were frightened (wild) donkeys. 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 Never so, as this is a reminder. 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
