The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
