The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 who amasses wealth and counts it over and again. 2 He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is the fire kindled by God 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 Indeed it will be shut over them. 8 In pillars stretched forth. 9

True are the words of God the Almighty.
