The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the forthcoming event does occur. 1 There is no denying that it will befall - 2 abasing [some,] exalting [others]! 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 And the mountains will be crushed, blown to bits. 5 So that they become dust seattered. 6 On that day, you (mankind) will be divided into three groups: 7 Those on the right hand; how happy shall those on the right hand be! 8 And the Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand? 9 And those Foremost (in Faith) will be Foremost (in the Hereafter). 10 These will be those nearest to Allah. 11 In gardens of bliss [will they dwell] 12 a good many of those of olden times, 13 and how few of the later folk) 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 immortal youths going round about them 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 Wherefrom they get no aching of the head nor any madness, 19 and such fruits as they shall choose, 20 and such flesh of fowl as they desire, 21 And (there will be) Houris (fair females) with wide, lovely eyes (as wives for the pious), 22 The likes unto pearls hidden. 23 As recompense for all they had done. 24 They will not hear therein any vain or sinful talk, 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 And those on the Right Hand, Who will be those on the Right Hand? 27 They will be in (the shade) of thornless lote 28 and acacias flower-clad, 29 In shade long-extended, 30 and flowing water 31 And fruit in abundance. 32 unfailing and not forbidden. 33 And raised couches; 34 and their spouses We shall have brought them into being afresh, 35 And made them virgins. 36 Loving companions matched in age, 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
