▼ 25 The Statute Book
Al-Furqaan 6 of 6
Blessed is He Who made constellations in the skies, and placed therein a Lamp and a Moon giving light; 61 It is He who made the night and day an alternation for him who cares to reflect and be grateful. 62 And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace, 63 And who spend the night prostrating and standing, for their Lord. 64 who pray, "Lord, protect us from the torment of hell; it is a great loss. 65 Indeed it is a most wretched abode. 66 And those, who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but hold a medium (way) between those (extremes). 67 And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty. 68 and on the Day of Judgment their torment will be double. They will suffer forever in disgrace. 69 save him who repents, and believes, and does righteous work -- those, God will change their evil deeds into good deeds, for God is ever All-forgiving, All-compassionate; 70 And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to Allah with [accepted] repentance. 71 (And the servants of the Merciful are those:) who do not bear witness to falsehood and who; if they have ever to pass by what is vain, pass by like dignified people: 72 Who, when reminded of their Lord's revelations, do not fall for them like the deaf and blind; 73 who pray, "Our Lord, bless us with wives and children, who may be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders of the righteous. " - 74 These are the ones who will be rewarded with lofty mansions in Paradise, for their steadfastness. They will be received therein with greetings of welcome and salutations of peace. 75 and wherein they will live for ever: what an excellent abode and what an excellent resting place! 76 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “You have no value before My Lord if you do not worship Him; so you have denied – therefore the punishment that remains, will occur.” 77
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
