All that live on it will perish. 26 only the Person of your Lord, full of majesty and splendour, will endure. 27 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 28 All in the heavens and the earth entreat Him for their needs; a new, mighty task engages Him each day. 29 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 30 Anon We shall direct Ourselves to you, O ye two classes. 31 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 32 O company of jinn and men, if you have the power to go beyond the bounds of the heavens and the earth, go beyond them! Yet you will be unable to go beyond them for that requires infinite power. 33 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 34 There will be sent, against you both, heat of fire and flash of brass, and ye will not escape. 35 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 36 And when the heaven is rent asunder, and then becomes red like red hide. 37 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? 38 Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn. 39 (We shall see) which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 40 The guilty ones will be recognized by their faces and will be seized by their forelocks and feet. 41 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? 42 (The guilty ones will be told), "This is hell which the sinful ones denied". 43 they shall go round between it and between hot, boiling water. 44 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 45
