T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Ta Ha 1 We have not sent down the Koran to you for you to be tired, 2 but as a reminder to he who fears. 3 A revelation from Him (Allah) Who has created the earth and high heavens. 4 The Most Compassionate Lord is settled on the Throne (of the Universe). 5 To Him belongs what is in the heavens and on earth, and all between them, and all beneath the soil. 6 And if you (O Muhammad SAW) speak (the invocation) aloud, then verily, He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden. 7 God is the only Lord and to Him belong all the exalted Names. 8 And has the story of Musa come to you? 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family: 'Stay here, for I can see a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a lighted torch or find at the fire guidance' 10 When he came to it, a voice cried, 'Moses, 11 I am your Lord. Take off your shoes, for you are in Towa, the sacred valley. 12 And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed: 13 I am God, and there is no god but I, so serve Me, and observe acts of prayer to remember Me. 14 Indeed, the Hour is coming - I almost conceal it - so that every soul may be recompensed according to that for which it strives. 15 Do not let those who disbelieve in it and follow their desires bar you from it, or you will perish. 16 "Now, what is this in thy right hand, O Moses?" 17 He said: "This is my stick, whereon I lean, and wherewith I beat down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses." 18 (Allah) said: "Cast it down, O Musa (Moses)!" 19 So he threw it down, and thereupon it was a snake, moving swiftly. 20 Said He: "Take hold of it, and fear not: We shall restore it to its former state. 21 And press your hand to your side, it shall come out white without evil: another sign: 22 for We shall show you some of Our greatest Signs. 23 "[And now] go thou unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity. 24
