And recite to them the news of Abraham, 69 when he asked his father and his people, "What is that which you worship?" 70 They said: "We worship idols, and we remain constantly in attendance on them." 71 He asked them, "Can the idols hear you when you pray to them 72 or benefit you or do you harm?" 73 They said: Nay, but we found our fathers acting on this wise. 74 He said: "Have you considered what you have been worshipping, 75 and what your grandfathers worshipped 76 Indeed, they are enemies to me, except the Lord of the worlds, 77 who has created me and is the One who guides me, 78 and He gives me to eat and drink, 79 And when I am ill, it is He who cures me 80 And who will cause me to die and then bring me to life 81 And who I aspire that He will forgive me my sin on the Day of Recompense." 82 My Lord! Bestow Hukman (religious knowledge, right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) on me, and join me with the righteous; 83 and grant me an honourable reputation among posterity, 84 And make me one of the inheritors of the Garden of Delight. 85 And forgive my father, verily he is of the erring; 86 Do not betray me 87 "The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail, 88 But only one who comes to Allah with a sound heart." 89 "To the righteous, the Garden will be brought near, 90 and hell will be left open for the rebellious ones 91 And it will be said to them, “Where are those whom you used to worship?” 92 Other than God? Can they save you or even save themselves?" 93 The idol worshippers, the idols, the rebellious ones, 94 and Satan's legions, all together. 95 They shall say, as they dispute there one with another, 96 “By oath of Allah, we were indeed in open error.” 97 when we made you equal with the Lord of the Worlds. 98 And none but the guilty led us astray; 99 so now we have no intercessors, 100 nor a loving friend. 101 Would that we might return again, and be among the believers' 102 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 103 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 104

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
