And indeed this Qur’an has been sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 192 which the truthful spirit has carried down 193 upon your heart (Prophet Muhammad), in order to be one of the warners, 194 In a clear Arabic language. 195 Surely, it is foretold in the ancient scriptures. 196 And was this not a sign for them, that the scholars of the Descendants of Israel may recognise this Prophet? 197 If We had revealed it to a nonArab, 198 And he had read it unto them, even then they would not have been believers therein. 199 In this wise have We made way for it into the hearts of the culprits. 200 They will not believe in it until they clearly see the grievous chastisement. 201 It shall come unto them on a sudden, and they shall not perceive. 202 Then they will say: "Shall we be respited?" 203 So do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Tell Me, if We do let them enjoy for years, 205 And then there came to them that which they were promised? 206 All that with which they used to enjoy shall not avail them. 207 Never a city We destroyed, but it had warners 208 By way of reminder, and We have never been unjust. 209 And the satans have not brought it down. 210 They are unworthy of it, nor can they do it. 211 Truly, they are expelled from hearing. 212 Therefore do not worship another deity along with Allah, for you will be punished. 213 And warn thy clan, thy nearest kin. 214 And lower your wing to those who follow you of the believers. 215 But if they disobey you, then say: Surely I am clear of what you do. 216 Have trust in the Mighty, the Merciful, 217 Who observes you when you rise (to pray) 218 And (seeth) thine abasement among those who fall prostrate (in worship). 219 Surely He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing. 220 O people, shall I tell you on whom it is that satans descend? 221 They descend on every sinful, false one. 222 The satans try to listen to the heavens but many of them are liars. 223 And as for the poets [they, too, are prone to deceive themselves: and so, only] those who are lost in grievous error would follow them. 224 Have you not seen that they wander distract in every valley, 225 and say things which they do not act upon, 226 Save those that believe, and do righteous deeds, and remember God oft, and help themselves after being wronged; and those who do wrong shall surely know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
