We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
