The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
