The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the morning hours 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 And indeed, in time will thy Sustainer grant thee [what thy heart desires,] and thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
