The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful 1

All praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 2 The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. 3 The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) 4 You alone we worship, and to You alone turn for help. 5 Guide us to the straight path - 6 The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
