The endeavors of he who believes and does good works shall not go unthanked. We write it down for him. 94 But there is a ban on any population which We have destroyed: that they shall not return, 95 until Gog and Magog are let loose to rush down from the hills. 96 the while the true promise [of resurrection] draws close [to its fulfillment]. But then, lo! the eyes of those who [in their lifetime] were bent on denying the truth will stare in horror, [and they will exclaim:] "Oh, woe unto us! We were indeed heedless of this [promise of resurrection]! - nay, we were [bent on] doing evil!" 97 You and what you worship instead of God will be fuel for hell: to it you shall all come -- 98 Had these [false deities] been [actual] gods, they would not have come to it, but all are eternal therein. 99 There they shall groan with anguish and the din and noise in Hell will not let them hear anything. 100 Verily those for whom the good has preceded from Us, they will be removed far therefrom (Hell) [e.g. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary); 'Uzair (Ezra), etc.]. 101 neither shall they hear any of its whisper, but shall live for ever in that their souls desired. 102 The Hour of the Great Terror shall not grieve them, and the angels shall receive them saying: "This is your Day which you had been promised." 103 And (remember) the Day when We shall roll up the heavens like a scroll rolled up for books, as We began the first creation, We shall repeat it, (it is) a promise binding upon Us. Truly, We shall do it. 104 We have written in the Psalms, after the Remembrance: 'The righteous among My worshipers shall inherit the earth' 105 Verily in this is a preaching for a people who are worshippers. 106 We have sent you forth as nothing but mercy to people of the whole world. 107 Say, "It has been revealed to me that your God is but One God. Will you then submit to Him?" 108 If they turn away, say, "I have warned you all alike, though I do not know whether [the scourge] which you are promised is near at hand or far off. 109 Surely He knows what is spoken openly and He knows what you hide; 110 And I know not, perhaps it may be a trial for you, and an enjoyment for a while. 111 He saith: My Lord!
