۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
