The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 And the earth brings forth her burdens, 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil, will also see it. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
