The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
