Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
AlifLaamMeem. 1 The revelation of the Book, there is no doubt in it, is from the Lord of the worlds. 2 Do they say that he, (Muhammad), has invented it? No, it is the truth from your Lord so that you will warn the people who have not received a warning before you. Perhaps they will seek guidance. 3 It is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between the two, in six days, and then He established Himself on the Throne. You have no guardian or intercessor other than He. Will you, then, not take heed? 4 He regulates the affair from the heaven to the earth; then shall it ascend to Him in a day the measure of which is a thousand years of what you count. 5 Such is He, the Knower of all things, hidden and open, the Exalted (in power), the Merciful;- 6 who gave everything its perfect form. He originated the creation of man from clay, 7 Then kept his posterity with a part of an abject fluid. 8 Then He fashioned him in due proportion, and breathed into him the soul (created by Allah for that person), and He gave you hearing (ears), sight (eyes) and hearts. Little is the thanks you give! 9 And they say: "What! when we lie, hidden and lost, in the earth, shall we indeed be in a Creation renewed? Nay, they deny the Meeting with their Lord. 10 ۞ Say: The angel of death, who hath charge concerning you, will gather you, and afterward unto your Lord ye will be returned. 11
