NAY, but consider the moon! 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 And by the dawn when it brightens, 34 surely it is one of the greatest things 35 Warn the men. 36 A warning unto him of you who shall go forward or who chooseth to lag behind. 37 Every soul shall be pledged for what it has earned, 38 except the Companions of the Right. 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They will say, "We were not of those who prayed, 43 and neither did we feed the needy; 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 until there came to us the certainty. 47 The intercession of their intercessors shall not benefit them. 48 Then what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away 49 like frightened donkeys 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 So whoever pleases may mind it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
