۞ Say: O my servants! who have acted extravagantly against their own souls, do not despair of the mercy of Allah; surely Allah forgives the faults altogether; surely He is the Forgiving the Merciful. 53 Turn in repentance to your Lord and submit to His will before you are afflicted with the torment after which you can receive no help. 54 Follow the best of what has been sent down from your Lord before the punishment overtakes you suddenly, while you are unaware' 55 Lest any soul should say, 'Alas for me, in that I neglected my duty to God, and was a scoffer,' 56 Or, lest it should say: had Allah but guided me, I should surely have been of the God-fearing! 57 "Or (lest) it should say when it (actually) sees the penalty: 'If only I had another chance, I should certainly be among those who do good!' 58 Yes indeed! But My Signs came to you and you rejected them as lies, and waxed arrogant and were among those who disbelieved. 59 On the Day of Judgment wilt thou see those who told lies against Allah;- their faces will be turned black; Is there not in Hell an abode for the Haughty? 60 But, Allah will save those who fear Him with their winnings (Paradise). No evil shall touch them, nor shall they ever grieve. 61 God is the creator of all things, and He is the guarantor of all things. 62 To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth: and those who reject the Signs of Allah,- it is they who will be in loss. 63
